News from the Moon Park

What’s going on at the start of this new season and new year?

The Moon Park has been open since 20th December with ‘Whoops’ in the green line, 1 table and 4 boxes in the blue line, 1 table and 2 rails in the red line, and 1 table and 2 rails in the black line. (All open depending on weather conditions).

The Moon Park respects nature. This winter we have installed new rails and boxes known as ‘bio-rails’ that is to say they are ecologically conceived by the group HO5. Comparing to a basic rail, the biorail permits to reduce impact on natural resources and eco system in 80 %!!  A gesture for the environment but also a more harmonious integration with nature because these rails are all wood.

New Activities; every Wednesday from 10am to 3pm, we propose a free introduction to freestyle. These programs will be held by fully qualified instructors and brought to life by the Moon Crew pro-riders. Classy!!  Open to skiers and snowboarders alike – guys and gals – big and small. Meeting point 10am every Wednesday at the Moon Park chalet.

Of course we still have the Friday Happy Hours : every Friday between 12 midday and 2pm. Initiation on Wednesday and Friday come and win prizes! Cool!

Also every Monday during the holidays; free APO ski and snowboard testing. All welcome!.Please welcome Yann Bondurand and Jonathan Bonnaud the new Moon Park shapers. We wish them a great season.

New from our sponsors; this year the Moon Park welcomes boots brand ‘Deeluxe’, the cosmetic brand Les Ettes. The international bible of snowboard ‘Onboard’ magazine, Ski and snowboard brand APO as well as Meribel radio R  and InfosNews working along side us this winter season 2009/2010.

On the Net; The Moon Park has a new website which is integrated in the Tourism Office website but still available on www.moonstuff.net  N.B. the site is still under construction and being brought up to date. So please excuse us for this slight but temporary delay which will be rectified as soon as possible.
