… as we walked around the streets of Eixample neighborhood, we bumped into this new little bar. I said “oh wow, this bar is so Les Ettes!” and then noticed that the lamps were designed by our Logo and packaging designer, friend and Ette-Boy Emil Kozak!
We walked in and realised that not only is it the cutest bar in town, it has an art gallery at the back with Emil’s “Acid Rain” exhibition.
If you happen to be in Barcelona or if you are planning to come any time, don’t miss COSMO bar.

Christmas News from Les Ettes Snowboarder Vanessa Waldenhofer

This weekend we held the Blue Tomato Kids Snowboard Day. On this special day we offer free snowboard coaching for kids. With this project we aim to get more kids back on a snowboard as in Austria more and more little kids start to go freeskiing and don’t learn to snowboard anymore!
Well, we had more than 65 kids taking part, fantastic! The snowboard instructors gave lessons to the beginners while some of us, the Blue Tomato team riders, were coaching the more advanced kids. Actually we wanted to take them to the snowpark for the first time of their life, but the park was not ready. As an alternative we started to hit some small powder tracks and did funny noseroll-oneeighty-sessions on the slopes later on. Although the weather was crazy cold, snowy and even more freezing the kids were super happy and stoked about snowboarding and didn’t want to stop! I had a really good time showing the spirit and fun of snowboarding to those mini-shreds and I am quite sure to meet them up in the park one day!

So I ended up running around with my piece of paper and it was great to see all the positive feedback from the public and the industry.. thanks to all of those who signed it :)
This weekend I went to Avoriaz for the Rock on Snow Tour…
PREMIERE of As If and What? in LONDON
It was awesome to be able to sit in the theatre of the screening of “As if, and What?”- the first female skate film in Europe. Sitting next to professional skateboarder, men shaking their heads with disbelief, grandparents, friends- all cheering, clapping and shouting.
The premiere was in an awesome and prime location- right across from Carnaby Street in London.
