Watch Lisa Filzmoser in 'A trip to Italy' by True Color Films

We, Lisa Filzmoser, Alvaro Vogel, Filippo Kratter and Rene Schnöller, went to Italy hunting powder for a week. The first three days we had no luck but lots of fun. We rode funny transitions and a wu-tang kicker. When the powder arrived we had to leave Alvaro at home, because he kept popping out his shoulder, but the crew shredded every little corner of the mountain with the hope to get Alvaro back on track for the next trip to Japan.

Anne-Flore Marxer is the 2nd most famous Swiss!

According to this google alert Anne-Flore is the second most famous Swiss person on the internet after Federrer! What is amazing is that she is famous for being a skier not a snowboarder and what is even MORE amazing is that we seriously thought she was French not Swiss!!!

News from Anne Flore Marxer: AK, bluebird and a 2nd place at the King of the Hill contest

A couple weeks back I saw Travis Rice at European Xgames who told me all about Nick Perata and Mark Sullivan organizing the King of the Hill again after 10 years off. He told me I should show up. A couple days later I contacted Perata and a week later, I was arriving in Valdez in an RV to shred those amazing mountains! I had heard about that event quite a bit especially since Axel Pauporte had won the last sword. And I have to admit I was a bit anxious on what to expect as far as terrain goes. I had never participated in a freeride event before and the mountains in Valdez are knowing for never ending very steep slopes.. but really the event was just a very good excuse for me to go shred those amazing mountains. David and I landed in Anchorage and stocked our RV with tons of organic food..

Ruka, Finland- 12.April 2010: After an action packed few days at the Ruka Battery Park in Northern Finland, snowboarding’s upcoming star Enni Rukajärvi took the victory at the 3Star Oakley Girlsessions. The event had attracted a crowd that was curious to see the local rookie talent, who had last month been crowned Swatch TTR World Snowboard Champion. In second place came Saana Pehkonen (FIN) and in third Claire Frost (GBR) who all got a piece of the $10000 USD prize purse.

This years’ Oakley Girlsessions attracted more than 80 enthusiastic girls from 8 different nations to participate in the various activities during the four days. Activities included coaching, photo shoots, seminars, amateur competition sessions, parties and a lot of fancy dress action. It is a setup created to push the progression of the female athletes and shine the spotlight on the new emerging talent. With the huge international success of Enni Rukajärvi this season it has been particularly rewarding for the event organizers who are more than proud of Enni’s accomplishments.
